Every great beer has a story — and ours started in a tiny Haarlem kitchen in 2019.
Two engineers (one software, one industrial) bought a “brew your own beer” kit just for fun. Spoiler: it didn’t stop there. What began as a lockdown hobby quickly spiraled into an obsession with hops, heat control, and the pursuit of the perfect pint.
The Evolution of a Dream

2019 – First kit brew in Haarlem. Questionable results, great memories.

2023 – We take the leap: €500 on second-hand gear, countless nights of brewing.

2024 – Everything changes: professional equipment, lab precision, and our first three beers.

2025 – The big one. CraftBrew.nl goes live, Brouwerij CraftBrew is official, and five beers hit the lineup.
