The built-in side thumb screw lets you depress and fine-tune the center pin on the fly — no tools, no guessing, no periodic re-adjustment misery when seals wear in. Even better: that thumb screw effectively gives you simple on/off control of gas flow, so you can connect/disconnect with far less drama (and far less CO₂ escaping into the atmosphere).
