8mm Duotight Regulator

The 8mm Duotight Inline Regulator with integrated gauge is a compact, push-fit pressure regulator that lets you step the pressure down on an individual gas or water line — independently of your main regulator and without tools. Part of the Duotight push-fit ecosystem from KegLand, it connects directly into 8mm EVABarrier tubing via the patented Duotight O-ring system, giving you a fast, leak-free, gas-tight join that holds reliably under pressure and pulls apart cleanly for reconfiguration or cleaning.

What makes an inline regulator so useful in a multi-keg system is the pressure independence it delivers. When several kegs share one CO₂ supply through a manifold, every keg is locked to the same pressure — fine when everything is carbonated and served identically, but a real problem the moment you want a low-carbonation cask-style ale next to a highly carbonated wheat beer. The intended setup is simple: set your main regulator to the highest pressure you need in the system, run the gas line into a manifold, then fit an inline regulator on each individual line where you want to drop the pressure. That lets you carbonate one keg at 1.5 bar while serving another at 0.9 bar from the same cylinder — manifold for distribution, inline regulator for individual control.

Crucially, this is a dual-purpose regulator: as well as CO₂, it handles nitrogen, compressed air, and mains water — making it equally at home dialling in keg pressures or feeding a water carbonator. The regulator body suits pressures up to 150 psi, and it ships with a 0–60 psi (roughly 0–4 bar) gauge as standard. The compact gauge is what keeps the unit so small, but it reads typical serving pressures in the bottom of its range — so for finer accuracy at low pressure, a lower-range gauge such as a 0–15 psi mini gauge is a worthwhile upgrade. Built from food-grade acetal (POM), stainless steel, and EPDM seals, the regulator is corrosion-resistant, rated to 100°C, and easy to disassemble for thorough cleaning.

Multi-regulator setups: To run several inline regulators together, mount them on a dedicated 4-way or 6-way polypropylene gas board for a clean, fixed manifold of individually regulated lines.

Note: Do not exceed the gauge pressure — setting pressure above the 0–60 psi (≈4 bar) gauge range can damage the gauge. Do not clean with chlorinated cleansers, as these degrade the acetal body. For serving, set the regulator to the correct equilibrium pressure for each keg's style and carbonation level.
