Brewtools Butterfly Valve TC 1.5" - Stainless Sanitary Valve for Fermenters

The sanitary case is the same one that makes butterfly valves the professional standard everywhere beer touches a valve: no internal cavity. A ball valve traps liquid between the ball and its seals on every cycle — a hidden pocket that cleaning never properly reaches. A butterfly valve is a single disc sealing against an exposed EPDM seat, every wetted surface visible and reachable the moment the clamp comes off. It disassembles in seconds, cleans completely, and gives contamination nowhere to hide — which matters most on exactly the connections 1.5” valves live on: racking ports and transfer lines carrying finished beer.

Note: Requires a 1.5” Tri-Clamp and gasket per connection (sold separately). For bottom-dump setups on the MiniUni™ 2” bottom port, use the Butterfly Valve TC 2” instead. Inspect and replace the EPDM seat periodically — it’s the wear part, and it’s replaceable.
