The Brewtools Insulation Jacket is the official 5mm neoprene insulation sleeve for the MiniUni™ 50+ fermentation tank — the targeted fix for the condensation that glycol-cooled fermentation inevitably produces, and a meaningful efficiency upgrade for any temperature-controlled MiniUni™ setup. Cut to fit the 50+ precisely and finished in black, it wraps the tank in a clean, purposeful layer that looks as deliberate as the rest of the Brewtools ecosystem.
The problem it solves is pure physics. The MiniUni™ 50+ carries a built-in cooling jacket, and when a glycol chiller pulls the tank well below ambient temperature, the cold stainless surface chills the surrounding air below its dew point — and condensation forms on the outside of the tank in quantities that drip continuously for the entire multi-day fermentation. The 5mm neoprene layer breaks that temperature differential at the surface: the tank stays cold inside, the jacket’s outer face stays near room temperature, and the condensation simply never forms. No wet floor under the fermenter, no rust spots on nearby equipment, no towels doing a job insulation should be doing.
The same physics pays a second dividend: efficiency. An uninsulated cold tank constantly absorbs heat from the room, forcing the glycol chiller to run harder and cycle more often just to hold temperature.
