Château Special Belgium Malt 260-320 EBC
Produced by Castle Malting, Special Belgium Malt is a unique dark Belgian caramel malt created through a specific double-roasting process. This specialty malt provides deep brown to near-black color while delivering a rich, complex malt character without the harsh bitterness often associated with roasted malts.
Flavor: rich caramel with notes of raisin, plum, and subtle nutty sweetness.
Special Belgium malt adds depth, body, and intense color to darker ales and lagers. It can also serve as a substitute for Chocolate or Black malt when brewers want dark color and complexity without roasted bitterness.
Caramel malts
Caramelised specialty malts used to enhance mouthfeel, body, foam stability, and malt complexity in beer.
