Citra® Cryo Hops® is the ultra-concentrated evolution of one of the most beloved hops in modern craft brewing. Developed by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2007, Citra HBC 394 is celebrated for its high alpha acid and total oil content, producing intense notes of citrus and tropical fruit that define countless IPAs and Pale Ales around the world.
Through Yakima Chief’s Cryo Hops® cryogenic technology, the concentrated lupulin — rich in essential oils and resins — is separated and preserved under nitrogen-rich, ultra-low temperatures, resulting in maximum flavor, aroma, and efficiency.

Derived from the Greek word “kryos” (meaning frost), Cryo Hops® utilize advanced cryogenic processing to separate hop cones into two components — concentrated lupulin and bract. The result is a potent lupulin pellet containing resins and aromatic oils that deliver intense hop character with less vegetal material and no astringency.
Cryo Hops® can be used anywhere traditional hop pellets are applied, offering enhanced aroma, cleaner flavor, and superior yield.
Packaging:
Each pack is nitrogen-flushed and sealed in a light-proof, aluminum-coated package, ensuring long-term freshness and flavor stability.
Store sealed packs in a cool place (<4 °C).
Once opened, compress and reseal (zip-lock or vacuum seal) and refrigerate to maintain peak freshness and aroma.
