CTZ Hop Pellets Brewferm

Price: €7,90

CTZ hop pellets are a powerhouse American bittering hop that goes by three names — Columbus, Tomahawk, and Zeus — all referring to the same variety, grouped together under the CTZ umbrella due to their near-identical characteristics. Produced by Brewferm and a staple of the American craft brewing tradition, CTZ is the workhorse hop that quietly underpins some of the most iconic IPAs and Pale Ales ever brewed.

What defines CTZ is its assertive, no-nonsense bitterness backed by a bold aromatic profile of pungent earth, dank resin, and black pepper, with a subtle citrus and herbal undertone that adds complexity without softening the hop's inherently aggressive character. Its exceptionally high alpha acid content makes it one of the most efficient bittering hops available — delivering clean, lasting bitterness at relatively low addition rates. Used later in the boil or in the dry hop, CTZ also reveals a distinctive dank, resinous, and slightly catty aroma that has become a defining signature of the classic West Coast IPA.

Versatile, potent, and time-tested, CTZ belongs in every homebrewer's hop inventory.
