Mosaic Cryo Hop Pellets Yakima Chief
Mosaic® Cryo Hops® takes one of the most loved and versatile hop varieties in the world — Mosaic HBC 369 — and amplifies its essence through Yakima Chief’s Cryo Hops® cryogenic technology.
Developed by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2012, Mosaic® is the daughter of Simcoe® (YCR 14) and a Nugget-derived male, delivering a vibrant spectrum of tropical fruit, berry, and citrus aromas with earthy and woody undertones. Aptly named for its “mosaic” of flavors, it’s a hop that can truly do it all.
The Cryo version intensifies these signature notes — offering cleaner flavor, bigger aroma, and less vegetative matter for brewers chasing top-tier hop expression.

Derived from the Greek word “kryos” (meaning frost), Cryo Hops® technology separates hop cones into two components — concentrated lupulin and bract — under ultra-cold, nitrogen-rich conditions. The result is a potent lupulin pellet packed with resins and aromatic oils that deliver intense hop character and maximum efficiency.
Cryo Hops® pellets can be used anywhere traditional hop pellets are applied, giving cleaner bitterness, higher aroma intensity, and reduced astringency.
Packaging:
The hops are nitrogen-flushed and sealed in a light-proof, aluminum-coated package for maximum freshness and stability.
Store sealed packs in a cool place (<4 °C).
Once opened, compress and reseal (zip-lock or vacuum seal) and refrigerate to preserve their intense tropical aroma and bright hop oils.
