The Brewtools B50 is the workhorse of Brewtools’ new generation of all-in-one brewing systems — a no-compromise electric brewery from the Norwegian maker renowned for building some of the most beautifully engineered, genuinely clever brewing equipment on the market. With batch sizes from 10 to 40 litres and a 52-litre total volume, the B50 sits right in the sweet spot for the committed regular homebrewer or a brewing club: serious capacity in a format that stays practical and manageable in a home brewery.

The B50 combines heating, pumping, control, cooling, and sanitary valve design into a single, integrated brewing platform. Indirect heating paired with a 10° conical bottom delivers controlled, scorch-free heat while driving sediment cleanly to the centre for efficient wort collection, trub separation, and dramatically easier cleaning. The included whirlpool setup — built around Brewtools’ patented CleanCore™ sanitary 3-way valves — lets you clarify the wort properly before transfer, improving wort movement, supporting fast cooling, and maximising yield from every batch.

The standout of this generation is the integrated cooling jacket built into the tank wall. Instead of lowering an immersion chiller into the kettle after the boil, you run cooling water through the jacket and chill with the kettle closed and the internal brewing space completely clear — a cleaner brew day and a meaningfully lower oxidation and contamination risk. Combined with the included whirlpool setup, the jacket brings the wort down rapidly in-kettle; for the fastest route to pitching temperature, pair it with the Brewtools Counterflow Chiller Kit and run two-stage cooling — jacket and whirlpool to around 50–60°C, then the counterflow chiller down to pitching temperature during transfer to the fermenter. Note that the cooling jacket requires the Cooling Connector Kit, cooling hoses, and a cold water supply, all available separately.

At the heart of the system is Brewtools’ FCS Brewing control platform: a high-resolution 8” colour touchscreen that repositions on a flexible cable, driven by a high-performance ESP32-P4 processor, paired with the powerful FCS Brew Pump - moving up to 30 litres per minute with 4.5 metres of head - for smooth recirculation, whirlpooling, and transfer. The system receives free over-the-air software updates as Brewtools continues to develop new features. Tri-Clamp connections throughout keep everything tool-free and sanitary, and two side TC ports leave room to grow — sparge water input, external cooling options, bypasses, and future upgrades. The platform can even be expanded with a stackable external mash tun, lifting malt capacity from 10kg to 18kg for very high gravity brewing and higher efficiency than the integrated malt pipe alone.

Running on a single-phase 230V supply at 3.3kW, the B50 fits a standard home installation while delivering the power to bring a full boil up quickly. This is a system you buy once and grow with — the foundation of a scalable, connected home brewery.

What you need on day one:
The B50 system does not ship brew-ready on its own. To brew on delivery day, add these three items:

• Brewtools Power Cable (Schuko to LP20) — the market-specific mains cable for the B25, B50, and B100 (2x16A); the B50 requires one
• Brewtools Cooling Connector Kit — the quick-connect fittings that link the integrated cooling jacket to your cooling water supply
• Brewtools EVA Hose 8.5×14mm — for the cooling water inlet and outlet runs; order enough length for both

Recommended upgrade: the Brewtools Counterflow Chiller Kit (B50 variant) for fast two-stage chilling to pitching temperature.
