Pairs well with

Rye malt is the spice rack of the grain bill: 10–20% in a pale ale turns it into a rye IPA with that signature peppery, slightly oily depth, and up to 50% makes a proper roggenbier. Weyermann's rye malt converts easily and brings colour on the pale side (4–10 EBC).

Sold in 1 kg bags, whole grain or crushed fresh on our own MaltZilla mill. Fair warning: rye has no husk and gets gluey above ~20% — rice hulls are your lauter's best friend in rye-heavy bills.
